The Entertainment Team at Sky prides itself on providing un-missable content for our customers.

We are launching a new work experience scheme to allow young people aged 18 and over the chance to spend up to 2 weeks in one of our departments to get a real insight into the way we decide what great shows we should buy, commission or make.

The placements last for a maximum of 2 weeks and are un-waged. Successful applicants will receive £15 a day towards their expenses but are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. However, a limited number of bursary placements will be available to those candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds that would normally be unable to take up a placement due to financial reasons.

This is your chance to spend time amongst one of the most talented teams in the news industry, experiencing what it’s like to work in a fast paced multi-platform news environment.

Our work experience lasts for a maximum of 3 weeks and is unpaid. If successful, you will receive £15 a day expenses and be responsible for your own travel and accommodation. Sky Production Services is a team of over 700 people based in Sky Studios, and we’re offering a number of opportunities for students to come and join us for four days’ work experience. You’ll get first-hand real-life production experience as well as seeing how everything behind the scenes in the office works.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to get a taste of the exciting world of production and get tips on how to start your career.

We’ll give you an induction to help you understand everything Sky, plus you’ll also get £15 a day towards your travel and expenses.
