We have an exciting opportunity for Planning Lead to join the Home Service team to help lead and support the changing needs of the business, perform exceptional reporting and continually improve capacity, planning and scheduling processes.

Purpose of the role and key responsibilities
•Drive continuous improvement within Home Service Planning to support Field, Contact Centre & Retail Operations
•Continually seeking opportunities to improve scheduling & planning processes making recommendations for change
•Monitoring and reporting Home Service Planning KPI target variances and creating action plans
•Working closely with Stakeholders on short to medium term projects to build business case or justification for developments to business models
•Acting as key contact with Stakeholders on department communications
•Work in conjunction with Planning Architect & Senior Planning Architect on scoping viability of long term initiatives
•Work closely with the S&OP team to ensure that our assumptions are aligned & feedback in any adjustments that we should consider
•Support the CRF process to ensure that we remain in SLA across all queues & communicate changes effectively
•Monitor demand and availability forecast vs. actual, and performing variation analysis and taking action as necessary
•Play active role in supporting the department Strategy's to facilitate delivery of objectives.
•Supporting the Resource Planners in the creation of the optimum schedule to maximise engineer efficiency
•Coaching, supporting and guiding the Resource Planners in their role to ensure the quality of Resource Planning delivery
•Previous experience in a planning position with sound knowledge of scheduling processes and systems
•Proven experience working within a customer focused environment
