You will: 
Use the power of data to optimise targeted communication channels and combine it with excellent execution that is underpinned by compelling content marketing & editorial. You will have responsibility for driving the strategy for Sky’s entire on-air promotional inventory across TV, Sky Go and On Demand is used to support content.  This is a transformation opportunity, as we seek to increase customer comms impact and drive content engagement through an omni-channel and customer-centric approach to content recommendations.  

Develop a cross-channel strategy to drive content engagement KPI’s
Set out a content engagement strategy for promo and email that links back to the overarching content engagement KPI’s
Bring fresh and bold ideas to ensure this strategy is innovative and future-facing 
Work collaboratively with the Heads of Merchandising, Content Engagement Strategy, Data Intelligence, Customer retention and Decisioning, and make an influential contribution to the establishing of a cross-channel customer targeting strategy 
Work with the Content Engagement Head of Strategy and insight team to establish a clear measurement model for promo and email comms that links back to KPI’s 

Put data at the heart of content engagement 
Determine data & analytical requirements for promo & email channels
Provide direction to the data, insight and capability heads to optimise targeting and performance 

Executional excellence in channel
Ensure promo & email channels support our customer targeting strategy by reaching the right audiences with the right content. 
Work with promo delivery team (within content) and email delivery team (within commercial) 
Identify future technology capabilities & data improvements required to accelerate performance

You’ll have:
Experience in developing and delivering data-driven customer engagement strategies, through TV or digital media channels 
Excellent strategic communication and analytical skills 
Is a strong team leader who is also able to engage, listen and collaborate with multiple internal departments to deliver cross-team solutions 
Is excited by technology and will seek to maximise the opportunities it presents
Experience in managing the demands of multiple stakeholders 
Has a passion for delivering customer value, and for Television 
A passion for continuous learning and development
