Your key responsibilities 

As a writer in the Content Engagement team, you will primarily draft the wording for Sky’s EPG.You will also write synopsis for merchandised collections of content, e.g in support of a collection of content curated to support Black History Month and write rail signposts, e.g. Pulse racing action, Queen’s of Comedy etc

-Writing the copy for Sky’s electronic programme guide

-Providing EPG updates as and when schedules change

-Writing copy for curated collections of content, e.g. Christmas, Halloween, Black History Month

-Writing enticing rail signposts that pull customers in, e.g. Riveting & Real Documentaries

-Internal liaison with key stakeholders including PR & social, production and commissioning teams plus when relevant, senior management

-Researching Sky’s shows and content

-Researching synopsis and rail signposts and adapting style to results

Key Skills

-Excellent writing skills; from brilliant headlines, to snappy synopsis to eye catching info

-Strong knowledge of Sky’s programming including sports, entertainment and movies

-Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure 

-Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends

-Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills

-Excellent planning and an ability to deliver work on time
